What is Motability and how does it work?
Motability is an independent not-for-profit organisation which provides mobility solutions for people with disabilities. The scheme was established to provide disabled people with safe, reliable and affordable cars.
The scheme helps people who qualify, either for the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioner's Mobility Supplement, to obtain a suitable vehicle, on a three or five year contract hire lease or on a hire purchase agreement over a term of two to five years.
